Description
La Noria Golf & Resort opened in December 2003. It is situated in a privileged location on the Costa Del Sol, between the cities of Fuengirola and Marbella in Mijas county
and only a few hundred yards to the magnificent beaches of La Cala de Mijas. It is ideally located with easy access off the N-340 coast road.
The 9 hole par 33 course is totally flat and contains four
bridges that unites tees, greens and fairways. Its biggest
difficulty is the approaches to the greens which is a real challenge
to the players as they are very well defined by three magnificent
lakes and the river that crosses the course from northeast to
southeast to form the spine of the golf course and thereby creating
an element of risk. The golf course is challenging for players of
all levels.

Hole By Hole Description
Hole 1: Par 3 153m, the 2 tier green, protected by four bunkers is level with the tee and surrounded by mounds.
Hole 2: Par 4 225m, strong dog-leg left with second shot into the grenn which is well protected by the river in front, a lake to the left and a picturesque waterfall at the back. 2 Tier green with strong break.
Hole 3: Par 4 310m, this has no bail-out with the road to the left and the river to the right with a lake around the peninsula green making the approach shot the most difficult element. 3 Tier green with bunker back left.
Hole 4: Par 4 338m, the tee shot has to pass the lake and find the wide fairway bordered by a road left and the river right. 2 Tier green is protected by mounds and a bunker back left.
Hole 5: Par 4 247m, this is the easiest hole on the course with a bunker in the middle of the fairway approximately 190m from the tee and the second shot being a short iron. The green has a bunker left and one right with the out of bounds just behind the green.
Hole 6: Par 3 154m, the out of bounds is very close to the right of the small and slightly elevated green which is softly sloping and makes the green difficult to read. It is also defended by 2 bunkers, one front left and the other at the back.
Hole 7: Par 5 438m, with a bunker to the right of the landing area of the drive and the river running all the way down the right, caution is necessary on the second shot to place it well before crossing the river to a 2 tier green protected by 4 bunkers.
Hole 8: Par 3 107m, the beautiful lake surrounds the front of the green which is also protected by a bunker, mounds and the river to the rear.
Hole 9: Par 3 166m, the green situated at the same level as the tee has 3 tiers protected by bunkers left and right
