Description

Noted for its beautiful clubhouse, welcoming atmosphere and large orange groves. Improvements, including new greens and a state of art irrigation system, were recently completed. The tees are terraced and long with expansive fairways on the front nine, with large undulating greens.

The 1st hole is short with a dogleg right towards an elevated green and huge bunkers on the right of the fairway. Be sure to aim the tee-shot left.

The 5th is a short par 5 with an elevated green, protected by water hazard on the left, aim for the right side of the fairway for a safe shot.

The 10th is a long par 4 with the green sloping right to left after a narrow entrance. Aim the tee-shot to the left of the fairway, and approach right of the flag.

The famous finishing hole is a long par 5, with the clubhouse behind the green. Before reaching the green there are several obstacles to consider – not least the lakes to be crossed before you can finally hole out.

As seen by the holes described, Los Naranjos is considered one of Robert Trent Jones’s finest courses created. A true championship course, it measures nearly 6,500 metres from the professional tees and features wide fairways, strategically placed hazards and large undulating greens. The course is fairly flat and suitable for walking and for all levels of players. Los Naranjos is firmly established as one of Spain’s most popular golf courses, welcoming visitors all year round.
