The prices quoted include taxes and are guaranteed (except in the case where a change in the VAT may occur) once the booking has been confirmed.
In most cases, the Spanish Golf Federation levy of
€ 3 (which is an
insurance surcharge) is included in the green fee price. We will inform you at
the time of confirmation whether it needs to be paid locally to the Caddymaster
or whether it is included.
Payments:
These can be made by credit card through the secure PayPal
system, bank transfers or cash at our office on the Costa Del Sol.
If payment is to be made by credit card we require a 20% deposit once the booking date and time are confirmed with the golf club and you. We use the
secure facility of PayPal via email to receive payments. The balance is required 8 weeks before the first booked tee-time.
Credit card payments are subject to a 2% bank charge. If payment is to be made by bank transfer then
through the secure facility of PayPal via email you can transfer funds once the booking date and time is
confirmed. All transfer charges are to be paid by the sender.
If payment is to be made in cash we only accept this if we are physically booking the tee-time whilst you are in the office paying the full amount.
Cancellations:
All cancellations must be made in writing by email.
Each cancellation will be confirmed by Spain Green Fees by email.
If you do not receive this confirmation from us this probably means we haven't received your email in the first place and you need to resend it or call us.
Any cancellations must be made 1 week before the booked tee-time.
There are a few courses that are an exception to the rule and require more
notice than this:
Los Flamingos (for 9-31 people) and Santa Clara (for 10+ people) require 15 days before the booked tee-time.
Los Flamingos (for 32+ people) requires 1 month before the booked tee-time.
Cancellations made after the allowed cancellation period will result in no refund given.
Any cancellations made within the allowed cancellation period will be subject
to an administration fee of € 6 per person per course.
If you do not turn up to play it counts as a "No Show" you are still charged for the green fee.
Cancellations made by the course usually only occur when they have to close due to lightning. Nearly all of the courses drain well and
therefore will not close purely for rain. In the event that the course decides that they have to close the course,
your tee time will be changed or you will be given a full or part refund. You
will need to get the Caddymaster to stamp
your voucher confirming that it is too bad to play. The decision of when to close and give refunds is purely at the discretion of the course.
Tee Times:
Spain Green Fees will endeavour to fulfill your preferred tee time. If this preferred tee time is not available, we will offer an alternative time which you may accept
or reject. Once you have confirmed that you will accept the alternative tee time the booking will be made and normal confirmation sent to you.
Once bookings have been made and confirmed, any alterations required by you will incur an administration fee of
€ 6 per person per course.
Handicaps:
Generally handicaps of 28 for men and 36 for women or less are required. It is advisable to bring your handicap certificate with you as you may be asked to show it.
Dress Code:
Soft spikes are required at most if not all the golf courses on the coast. Trainers are not permitted.
Generally normal golf dress code is the same for every golf course as in your home country.
Liability:
Spain Green Fees will not be held liable in respect of loss, damage or
changes caused by events beyond our control.
